Reading Between the Candles: Making Sense of Market Movements

October 27, 2026 | GME Academy | 6-Day Forex Trading Workshop Series

What Can a Chart Really Tell Us?

At first glance, a financial chart might look like a collection of rising and falling lines, unfamiliar shapes, and constantly changing numbers.

But behind those movements is a record of how prices have behaved over time.

Why do prices move the way they do? What can we learn from previous market movements? And how do traders begin making sense of the information displayed on their screens?

These questions introduced another important dimension of Forex education as GME Academy continued its 6-Day Forex Trading Workshop Series on October 27, 2026.

Led by Coach Sachie Turiano, Day 3 focused on Technical Analysis Part 1, introducing participants to the process of examining market charts and developing a more informed perspective on price behavior.

Seeing Beyond the Price

In the previous workshops, participants explored the world of Forex and became familiar with the MetaTrader 5 trading platform.

Day 3 brought those experiences together by turning attention to what appears on the charts themselves.

Throughout the session, Coach Sachie introduced participants to the foundations of technical analysis and demonstrated how historical price movements can be examined to better understand market behavior.

The discussion explored the importance of observing price levels, recognizing market direction, and considering the broader context behind movements on a chart.

Rather than viewing charts as collections of isolated numbers, participants were encouraged to look at how different pieces of market information relate to one another.

Because understanding what a chart displays is only the beginning. Learning how to interpret that information requires a broader perspective.

Sometimes, the Bigger Picture Changes What We See

One of the interesting aspects of financial markets is how differently the same price movement can appear depending on the perspective from which it is viewed.

A movement that seems significant at first glance might look very different when examined in a wider context.

During the workshop, Coach Sachie explored this relationship through market chart discussions and demonstrations, showing why context matters when examining financial information.

For learners, the session offered an opportunity to move beyond simply observing whether prices were rising or falling.

It encouraged a more thoughtful approach to studying market activity, recognizing that historical patterns can provide useful context without guaranteeing what markets will do next.

From Learning the Tools to Understanding the Information

Day 3 marked another stage in GME Academy's structured learning experience.

With the foundations of Forex introduced in Day 1 and platform navigation explored in Day 2, participants began connecting their previous lessons with the process of examining market charts.

Through guided discussions, practical illustrations, and opportunities to engage with the material, the session brought technical analysis into a more approachable learning environment.

And while technical analysis involves different concepts and methods, the importance of developing a strong foundation remained central to the experience.

The goal isn't simply to look at a chart. It's to begin understanding the information it contains, the questions it raises, and the limitations of what it can tell us.

Another Chapter in the Forex Learning Journey

As GME Academy's workshop series progresses, each session introduces another layer of financial market education.

From understanding currencies and navigating trading platforms to studying market charts, participants are gradually introduced to different aspects of Forex.

The succeeding workshops continue this journey with additional technical analysis concepts, fundamental analysis, and risk management.

Each topic reinforces the value of learning before making financial decisions.

Because in a market where prices constantly change, having the patience to understand what you're looking at can be just as important as knowing how to use the tools in front of you.
